How It Works

From one topic to a quarter of content in 4 steps

Drop in one topic. Ranko mines real Google searches and real AI questions into a ranked plan.

1

Plain Language In

Drop in a single topic

No keyword research, no seed list, no workshop. Type one line, "remote team management software", and Ranko takes it from there. The content meeting that ended in vague intentions ends in a ranked roadmap instead.

  • No Seed List Needed
  • Plain Language
  • Zero Setup
2

Real Question Mining

Ranko mines real questions, not made up ones

Ranko pulls the searches people type into Google and the questions they ask ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini. Not synthetic lists, not stale estimates. Real questions, both halves of search in one pass.

3

Intent Clusters

Clusters that match how people actually think

Ranko groups every mined question into clusters by intent, what each group of searchers actually wants. Comparison, how to, best of, and edge cases each get their own cluster, a real article waiting to be written.

90 Day Ranked Plan

A ranked 90 day plan appears

Every cluster is scored against the opportunity gap: how often the question is asked, how thinly existing answers cover it, then ranked across a ninety day calendar so you know what to publish first.

Why Teams Choose RANKO

Six reasons your content calendar stops being a guess

Once a team has a ranked plan from real Google and AI searches, shipping whatever feels right stops being acceptable.

Real questions, not guessed ones

Real questions, not guessed ones

The questions in your plan are ones people actually asked this week, pulled from Google and the answer engines. Demand that genuinely exists.

AI assistants mined, not ignored

AI assistants mined, not ignored

Most tools still pretend the answer engine era never arrived. Ranko mines ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini too, so you get cited in AI answers.

Opportunity gap ranking, not volume blindness

Opportunity gap ranking, not volume blindness

A question searched ten thousand times that fifty competitors answer well beats one searched three hundred nobody covers. Ranko ranks by the gap.

Clusters that match how people think

Mined questions are grouped by intent: comparison, how to, best of, edge cases. Each cluster is a real article, so the brief writes itself.

Ninety days planned, not one post

Ninety days planned, not one post

One blog post is a moment. Ninety days of ranked publishing is a campaign. Ranko delivers the full quarter in priority order.

From topic to plan in about a minute

From topic to plan in about a minute

Planning that took three days of keyword research and two spreadsheets collapses to about a minute. Every quarter opens with a ranked plan in hand.

Features

Everything the topic planning brain ships with

A complete topic planning toolkit: plain language input, Google and AI mining, clustering, a ranked plan.

Plain Language Topic Input

One line in plain language is all Ranko needs. No keyword seed lists, no taxonomy. Type the topic the way you would say it.

Google Search Mining

Real searches from real people on Google get pulled into every plan, not stale estimates, not the recycled long tail.

AI Assistant Question Mining

The questions people ask ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini get mined too, since a third of search now happens in AI engines.

Intent Based Clustering

Every mined question gets grouped with others that share its intent: comparison, how to, best of, edge cases. Each is a real article.

Opportunity Gap Scoring

Every cluster is scored against the opportunity gap: how often questions are asked and how thinly answers cover them.

90 Day Ranked Publishing Plan

Clusters get ranked highest leverage to lowest across a ninety day calendar, telling you what to publish first and what can wait.

Questions & Answers

Everything you need to know

Common questions on usable topics, where Ranko sources questions, how clusters and gaps work.

Almost anything you would say out loud as a topic the brand cares about. "Remote team management software" works. "Freelance tax in the United Kingdom" works. "Indoor plants for low light apartments" works. The planner handles broad topics by drilling into the specific clusters within them, and narrow topics by mapping adjacent clusters that share the same audience. The only topics that struggle are ones with genuinely zero demand, which is itself a useful answer.
From the places people are actually searching right now. The Google side draws on the signals Google surfaces the related searches, the people also ask questions, the autocomplete patterns, the question shapes in featured snippets. The AI side draws on the questions asked across ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini through licensed signal sources and observed prompt patterns. The result is a question pool reflecting real demand from both halves of search, not synthetic keyword lists.
By grouping every mined question with others that share the same intent. "Should I use Notion or Linear" sits in a comparison cluster. "How do I migrate from one to the other" sits in a how to cluster. "What is the best tool for a small team" sits in a best of cluster. The grouping is by what the searcher actually wants, not surface keyword overlap, which makes clusters feel like article briefs rather than tag soup.
Opportunity gap is the difference between how often a question is asked and how well existing answers cover it. A question searched ten thousand times a month that fifty competitors answer thoroughly has a small gap: demand is real but supply is saturated. One searched three hundred times that nobody covers has a large gap. Ranko also weights how citable an answer is in AI engines and how it connects to commercial intent.
By finding the unsaturated clusters inside them rather than recommending saturated ones. A broad topic like "project management software" is brutally competitive at the head and obvious long tail, but the planner drills into specific intent clusters where competition has not caught up: edge cases, industry needs, comparisons between newer tools. The plan focuses the team where their work can actually rank and earn citations.
The plan flows directly into the rest of the Ranko platform. Each cluster becomes a brief that Content Forge turns into a published article in the team's brand voice, with schema injected automatically. Audit Forge keeps the work healthy as the site evolves, and Analytics Forge tracks which pages get cited by which AI engine. The plan is the start of the engine, so the team goes from topic to published piece without handoffs.
