Each category has its own set of standard templates for comparison. Custom types can be added by the legal team if needed.

The critical provisions specific to the document type. Termination clauses, limitation of liability, dispute resolution, governing law, indemnification, confidentiality, intellectual property assignment, force majeure, assignment restrictions, notice provisions. The exact set varies by contract type. A non disclosure agreement gets a different critical list than a vendor agreement.

Yes, every recommendation is reviewable and adjustable. The legal team or contract owner can accept the suggested language as is, modify it before insertion, or reject it entirely if the missing clause is intentionally absent for a specific reason. The override is logged so the audit trail captures the decision.

The legal team can add custom document types and custom templates. For contracts that fall outside the standard categories, the team uploads representative templates for that type and Sigi uses them as the comparison baseline. Custom types apply across the team's contract library and update as the team's standards evolve.
