REVO runs on Temporal.io a distributed, fault-tolerant workflow engine used by Snap, Stripe, Coinbase, Netflix, and Datadog. When a step fails, Temporal automatically retries with exponential backoff. When a worker crashes, your workflow resumes exactly where it left off, with full state intact. The Developer Console lets any team register a custom app with its own client ID, client secret, and JWT secret, then define custom triggers and actions by uploading payload schemas, field types, and sample data via JSON. Once registered, your app shows up in the marketplace for end-users to connect via OAuth. Rate limiting and domain allowlisting are built in for abuse protection.

REVO is SOC 2 Type II certified and GDPR compliant. Sensitive data (credentials, secrets, payloads) is encrypted at rest and in transit. Authentication uses JWT with refresh tokens and bcrypt password hashing, with optional SSO via configurable JWKS providers and auto user creation.
